AN OBJECT OF DESIRE

Actually, there are indeed 3,500 objects within this image - handmade and individually created . Not for the first time, the image  was copied, manipulated or illegally used - by various companies, universities and individuals for their business purposes - worldwide! The reason for this abuse definitely is the high quality of this visualization. The effort of creating was extremly high and expensive of course.

Wolfgang Karner's work illustrates the software architecture of Comarch ERP enterprise software. It may only be used by Comarch for sales and training purposes in the immediate product context. A basic version of the image originally was developed for the pioneering enterprise application software SEMIRAIMS. The visualization also was constantly adapted according to the development process of the software and it was modernized several times. The SEMIRAMIS software is now sold under the name of COMARCH ERP and is successfully implemented in numerous companies throughout the world. A few well known companies are: Zalando, SONAX, Victorinox, Blizzard, Falke, the sportscar manufacturer  Wiesmann, Develey, Freudenberg , Bernbacher, Dallmayr, Kik, and many more.

SCANDALOUS  COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT !

The Italian software company DEDAGROUP uses a copyright protected software architecture graphic from Wolfgang Karner for its worldwide business purposes without any authorization! The company  denies the facts and threatens with lawsuits.
